Privacy Policy

If you create an account, we collect the email address and password you provide (your password is handled by our authentication provider and is never visible to us in plain text). If you use the dashboard, we store the cases, saved tool outputs, and other information you choose to enter, such as bill details, notes, or letter drafts.

You can use every PapaShield tool without creating an account. In that case, we do not store the information you enter in a tool - it stays in your browser unless you choose to save it to an account.

We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools on this site. If that changes in the future, this page will be updated to reflect it before any such tool is added.

We ask that you avoid entering Social Security numbers, full medical records, or other highly sensitive personal details into any tool or saved output. PapaShield is not a medical records system and does not claim to meet healthcare-specific data standards such as HIPAA.

We use account information to let you sign in, save your work, and view it later. We use the content of saved outputs only to display it back to you in your own dashboard. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers described below.

We use Supabase to host our database and handle account authentication. Supabase stores your account and saved-output data on our behalf, under its own security practices. We use a hosting provider to serve this website. Neither provider is used for advertising or analytics purposes by us.

We use a small number of cookies required to keep you signed in to your account. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

PapaShield reserves a small number of clearly labeled public advertising spaces (see Advertise with PapaShield). No paid third-party advertising campaign or Google AdSense inventory is active yet - those spaces currently show only PapaShield’s own placeholder. Advertisements never appear in tool outputs, saved drafts, generated letters, TXT/PDF exports, or any authenticated area (dashboard, admin, or account pages). We do not sell private medical, billing, or insurance data to advertisers, and a direct advertiser never receives access to user accounts or tool submissions. No behavioral advertising is active today.

You can delete saved outputs and archive cases directly from your dashboard. If you would like your account or account data deleted entirely, contact us at [email protected] and we will help you with that request.

If we make a meaningful change to how we collect or use information, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
